Our Carbine Fundamentals Course has been created to give students the knowledge and skills that are the building blocks of a good shooter. Like the handgun fundamentals course, it is designed to teach the importance of safety, loading, reloading, and unloading a weapon. We will show you how to create a solid shooting platform with proper stance, grip, sight alignment, sight pictures, assessment of your shots, and follow-through. Eye dominance and weapon malfunctions will be covered in easy to learn and practical way. You will how to effectively use your weapon and how to take advantage of its design and accessories. Most importantly we will teach students how to self-diagnose for future improvements.

Equipment Requirements

• Operational carbine with sling
• 4 Magazines
• Magazine pouches, Chest Rig or Plate Carrier
• Eye and Ear protection mandatory
• PPE recommended – Knee pads and gloves
• Spare batteries for all electronics
• Weapon lube and tools
• 200 Rounds of Rifle ammunition

Registration & Payment

All Courses require pre-payment at the time of registration. All courses have a limited amount of spots available and are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. If the course is canceled by Black Bear Solution, we will contact you to see if you would desire a 100% refund of your payment or if you’d like to be moved to a different time/date. Your application can be cancelled for a full refund in the first 48 hours from purchase, after that full refunds are not possible.
